Welcome to Pricelio (“Pricelio”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a service operated by IT Smart Solutions, LLC. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit pricelio.com or use any related services, web applications, mobile applications, APIs and integrations (together, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service you agree to the practices described below.

For EU and UK residents, IT Smart Solutions, LLC is the data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

2. Information we collect

• Account data – name, e-mail, password hash, company name, country, preferred currency, website URL.
• Billing data – Stripe customer ID, subscription plan, last four digits of card, billing address, VAT ID. We never store full card numbers.
• Usage data – log-in timestamps, pages visited, IP address, browser user-agent, cookies, crash reports.
• Product data you upload – SKU IDs, product names, your prices, competitor URLs.
• Support data – messages sent via chat, e-mail or support tickets.
• Marketing data – newsletter sign-ups, demo-request information.

We collect this information either because it is necessary to provide the Service, because you gave us consent, because we have a legitimate business interest, or because the law requires us to keep it.

3. How we use your information

• Operate, maintain and secure the Service.
• Crawl competitor sites you specify and display pricing analytics.
• Send system notifications such as price-change alerts and account messages.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
• Respond to support requests and improve customer experience.
• Send product updates and marketing messages when you opt in.
• Generate anonymised statistics to improve our algorithms and features.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and security, privacy-friendly analytics cookies (Plausible – no personal data, no cross-site tracking), and Stripe cookies for fraud prevention during checkout. You can manage cookies in your browser or through our cookie-preferences banner.

5. When we share your information

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who need it to operate the Service, such as:

• Stripe, Inc. – payment processing and subscription management.
• Hetzner – hosting in the EU (eu-central-1).

Each provider may access your data only to perform tasks on our behalf and must protect it according to contractual commitments and, where required, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

We may also disclose information if required by law or to defend legal claims.

6. Data retention

• Account data: retained while your account is active and for 12 months after cancellation.
• Billing records: retained for 10 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations.
• Server logs: retained for 90 days.
• Encrypted back-ups: retained for 30 days.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account or by e-mailing privacy@pricelio.com. We will then remove or anonymise your personal data unless legal obligations require us to keep it longer.

7. Security

We use TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, Argon2i hashing for passwords, optional two-factor authentication, least-privilege access controls and quarterly penetration tests. While no online service is ever completely secure, we follow industry best practice to protect your data.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct or delete your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a copy of your data in machine-readable format (data portability).
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
• Complain to a supervisory authority about our data-handling practices.

9. International transfers

When we transfer personal data outside the EEA or UK, we rely on adequacy decisions (for example, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.

10. Children’s privacy

Pricelio is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will notify you by e-mail or in-app notice at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. The “Effective date” at the top will always show when the latest version began.
